From the Nurse’s Office to the Soccer Field
Our journey with Conestoga Elementary began with a simple act of care: donating much-needed supplies to support their school’s nursing office. Through this effort, we connected with Principal Leah, whose passion for her students’ well-being sparked something bigger.
A Community Connection, A Shared Goal
Leah introduced us to Pastor Derrick of Bridge Church, who also happens to coach Conestoga’s soccer team. This year marked the school’s second season participating in the Omaha Public Schools soccer partnership—but their jerseys were barely holding together.
That’s when we teamed up with our friends at Caffeinated Caterpillar Tattoo & Spa to make something beautiful happen: brand-new jerseys for every player.
Showing Up, On and Off the Field
We didn’t just drop off the gear—we showed up.
We joined the team for a few practices, cheered from the sidelines, and celebrated their first win of the season: a 2–0 victory that had the whole field buzzing.
Before the first whistle blew, our Marketing & Outreach Director took time to capture individual portraits of each player in their new jerseys. These weren’t just photos—they were keepsakes for families, snapshots of pride, growth, and belonging.
Parents lit up seeing their kids stand tall in fresh gear, ready to represent their school. It was a moment of dignity and joy, and we were honored to help preserve it.
What This Means to Us
This partnership is about more than soccer. It’s about:
- Dignity—because every kid deserves to feel proud in what they wear
- Visibility—because showing up builds trust and connection
- Momentum—because small wins lead to bigger dreams
We’re honored to walk alongside Conestoga as they grow, compete, and shine.
Looking Ahead: Indoor Soccer Camp This Winter
Our work with Conestoga doesn’t stop here.
This winter, we’re launching our first-ever indoor soccer camp at an elementary school—and Conestoga will be at the heart of it.
We can’t wait to keep building skills, confidence, and community—one goal at a time.
